Salmon Run

A day-long celebration of the River Exe involving community, learning and running. Following the migration route of critically endangered Atlantic Salmon along the River Exe from sea to spawning grounds.  Salmon Run is a community event, ultra marathon and team relay that brings people into deeper connection to the place they are in together and in empathy with another being’. In September perhaps the rain's will come and the Salmon will run up river, returning to their place of birth, and we’ll be there alongside this keystone species, our river and other river-dwelling communities as we work towards improving and restoring the river for all species working alongside our partners including FORE (Friends of the River Exe) & Westcountry Rivers Trust. Watch a short film about Salmon Run here
